Project M.O.S.E.S. is a series of three "Fun Shops" for
youth. We believe that values are the rungs on the ladder of success and
that education is the most reliable foundation on which to place that
ladder. Our workshops focus on love, purpose and joy. Basic math is incorporated
into each "funshop" to enhance the math skills of participants.
A description of each workshop is given below. Fee is $10 for adults and
$5 for youth under 18. To reserve your seat(s) Call (410)655-1211.
LOVE 5/10/08 Noon-2
This "funshop" is designed to foster a since of belonging, integration,
and self worth. Using basic math, children are provided with information
regarding their gifts, talents, skills and abilities as well as how these
talents can be used productively to enhance their lives and to benefit
society. Education is emphasized as the means for achievement.
PURPOSE 6/14/08 Noon-2
This "funshop" uses basic math skills to encourages youth to
begin to form thoughts and strategies regarding long range planning; an
essential element in the difference between students who continue to pursue
higher education and those that drop out.
JOY 7/12/08 Noon-2

encourages students to examine and acknowledge their "inner light".
